The ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute (CRRI), previous name ICAR-National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), was established in 1946 and operates under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Located in Cuttack, Odisha, it is a premier institute for rice research in India and South Asia.

CRRI focuses on rice cultivation, crop improvement, pest and disease management, and advanced agricultural technologies.
